Terms and Policies

We believe in being transparent and upfront with our clients. Please review the following terms and policies before booking a service.

Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled in advance and confirmed via phone, text, or email. We do our best to arrive on time but may occasionally be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. All labor is backed by a 90-day workmanship warranty. If any issue arises due to our workmanship during this period, we’ll return to inspect and if necessary repair at no additional cost.

This warranty does not cover materials (which may carry a manufacturer’s warranty),

  • Materials or products (these may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty)
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or alterations by others
  • Issues unrelated to the original work performed

Additional notes:

  • Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period.
  • The original client must notify us of the issue promptly to schedule a follow-up.
  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the work performed by Melbourne North Handyman Services.

Cancellations Policy

We understand that plans can change. To provide the best service to all our clients, we have the following cancellation policy in place:

Free Cancellations:
Cancellations or rescheduling are free of charge if made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment to commence work may be subject to a cancellation fee of $55.00.

Exceptions:
We understand that emergencies and weather conditions can sometimes make it impossible to keep an appointment. We’re happy to waive fees in these cases at our discretion.

Payments & Deposits

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • We accept payment via bank transfer (EFT) or Pay ID. 
  • A deposit may be required for larger jobs or material purchases.
